About the Chamber
The Windsor Chamber of Commerce strives to successfully market the Windsor business community and to foster positive public recognition of business in Windsor.
What is a Chamber?
Chambers of Commerce are business and community associations, generally incorporated as a 501(c)(6) business. Chambers of Commerce are not part of local, state, or federal governments. Chambers do strive to form partnerships with these agencies to accomplish the chamber mission.
Chambers of Commerce are funded by membership dues as well as non-dues items such as events, sponsorships, and publications.
As a volunteer, member-supported organization, the Chamber encourages united interests and action toward the development of this community as a prosperous place in which to live, work adn conduct business.
What do Chambers do?
The purpose of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is to promote the general welfare and best interests of the Town of Windsor, Colorado and the surrounding are by:
- Promoting and supporting the business environment through membership participation;
- Providing leadership that fosters economic growth, community involvement, and communication for a healthy business community;
- Focusing on our people by providing networking and educational opportunities and keeping members informed on issues affecting their business;
- Fostering an alliance between business owners, residents, consumers and local government.
